Panaversity Certified Associate — Foundations

Stage One · Panaversity Qualification — PCAO-F

Exam Overview

PCAO-FStage One · PanaversityRequired for internship

The first checkpoint of the pathway. Aligned to Anthropic's Associate Foundations blueprint, it tests judgment rather than implementation: can you evaluate what Claude produces, spot the problems, and know when a human has to review it? Take this before PCAR-F — the heaviest thing it measures is output evaluation, and that judgment is what system design rests on.

Planned

Not yet available for registration.

Who it is for: Everyone starting the Vertical FDE path — no development experience assumed — plus consultants, pre-sales engineers, project managers, and adoption leads.

Where this sits in the pathway

Stage One is Panaversity's readiness gate before Stage Two

Anthropic does not require PCAO-F or PCAR-F. They are Panaversity's readiness and access requirements for this route. Passing both qualifies you for the FDE Internship Program and partner access, which provisions the organisational email you need to register for the Anthropic exams — personal email addresses are not accepted.

Why the gate exists

An Anthropic sitting costs $99 to $175, and successive failures bring waits of 14, 30, and 90 days. Your first two Panaversity attempts cost nothing — a free proctored exam against the same blueprint is a much cheaper readiness check. If you cannot clear 720 here, do not assume the corresponding Anthropic exam will go differently.

What this exam covers

  • Output Evaluation and Validation
  • Workflow Integration
  • Governance and Responsible Use

PCAO-F is aligned to Anthropic's Claude Certified Associate, Foundations blueprint, so it covers the same domains. Anthropic publishes seven domains; the three named here are more than half the exam. Panaversity does not publish its own domain weights — the published weights belong to the matching Anthropic exam, CCAO-F.
