Building AI Agent Factories
Levels 1 and 2 taught you to direct AI agents and program with them here you build your own. Using agent frameworks like OpenAI Agents SDK, you create custom AI agents that handle real work. You learn to connect agents to external services, put them behind production APIs, test them properly, measure their performance, and give them the data and memory layers they need to operate reliably. Two certification exams earn the Level 3 Certified Agentic AI Engineer credential.

Levels 1 and 2 gave you the foundations — directing AI agents, engineering context, writing specifications, and programming in Python. This course puts it all together: you build custom AI agents from scratch. You work with agent frameworks like OpenAI Agents SDK to create agents that take action in the real world — handling conversations, orchestrating multi-step workflows, and coordinating with other agents. You learn to connect agents to any external service using integration protocols, then put them behind production APIs with authentication, real-time streaming, and cloud database persistence. You learn to test agents properly (AI calls are expensive and non-deterministic, so testing requires different techniques) and evaluate their quality systematically — catching regressions before users see them. The data layer completes the picture: document search so agents can find information in large collections, relational databases for structured persistence, and memory systems so agents remember context across sessions. Two exams earn the Level 3 credential.
