TutorClaw is Panaversity's AI teaching assistant

TutorClaw is a coming-soon AI teaching bot for Panaversity students. It will teach the Agent Factory curriculum on WhatsApp, using the Agent Factory book as its single source of truth.

Students will be able to ask course questions, prepare for quizzes, review difficult ideas, and keep learning between live classes.

What TutorClaw does

A WhatsApp tutor that teaches from the official curriculum

TutorClaw will not be a general chatbot. It will answer from the Agent Factory book, adapt its teaching style to the learner, and help faculty understand where students need support.

What students get

TutorClaw is designed for the moments when a student is stuck after class and needs a patient explanation.

  • Ask course questions in plain English, Urdu, or Hindi-style everyday phrasing.
  • Get explanations grounded in The Agent Factory book instead of generic AI answers.
  • Prepare for quizzes with structured practice at Remember, Understand, and Apply levels.
  • Review difficult concepts when class is over and the teacher is not available.
  • Use PRIMM-AI+ practice for code-heavy chapters when that expansion is introduced.

How it teaches

TutorClaw will use PHPM so different learners get different teaching approaches, not just easier or harder wording.

  • It will adapt teaching style, not just difficulty.
  • It will use signals such as confusion, confidence, and frustration.
  • It will support teaching methods such as direct instruction, Socratic questioning, retrieval practice, scaffolding, and interleaved practice.
  • It will check learning through structured assessment rather than only giving explanations.

How faculty use it

TutorClaw is not meant to replace teachers. It helps faculty see where students need human attention.

  • Handle routine questions so faculty can spend more time on judgment and mentorship.
  • Surface signals about confusion, confidence, frustration, and progress.
  • Help identify students who may need intervention before they fall too far behind.
  • Suggest where human teachers should step in.
  • Keep the core principle clear: AI assists, faculty judges.

Built on OpenClaw

TutorClaw is planned as a learning tool and a proof-of-concept for the Digital FTE infrastructure students study.

  • TutorClaw is planned as an OpenClaw plugin.
  • It will use the Agent Factory book as the system of record.
  • It demonstrates how Digital FTEs can support education, not just business workflows.
  • Students will learn from an agent-powered system while learning to build agent-powered systems.

Why this is different

Traditional AI tutors often change only the difficulty of the answer. TutorClaw is being designed to change the teaching method itself, then verify learning through structured assessment instead of simply giving more information.
